U Kean Seng has extensive experience in corporate finance, law, and governance. He combines his legal knowledge and economic expertise to support organizations in achieving sustainable growth, sound governance, and impactful investments.

In addition to serving as international legal counsel for SMI-Boulevard Group, Mr. U is the General Counsel for Boulevard Capital Partners Limited, and a director of Primeforth Capital Pte Ltd, a corporate consultancy firm headquartered in Singapore. He was previously a director of PGG Wrightson Limited, an agricultural supply business based in New Zealand.

Prior to joining the private sector, M. U was a partner at Shooklin & Bok LLP, a leading Singaporean law firm, where he focused on East Asian markets. He also led a corporate finance team at Allen & Overy Shooklin & Bok, JLV, a Singapore-based partnership with leading international law firm Allen & Overy LLP. Mr. U has served as an independent and non-executive director for several publicly listed corporations.

Mr. U holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and a Bachelor of Economics (B.Ec) from Monash University in Australia, where he majored in Economics and Accounting. He is qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia; an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore; and a Solicitor of England and Wales. Mr. U is a Singaporean citizen.
